Every year, in April, we celebrate the first official and voluntary journey through other dimensions, carried out on April 19, 1943, by Swiss chemist Albert Hofmann, the first scientist who laid the foundations of modern psychonautics. He, one afternoon, after swallowing a drop of a magical drink, decided to go for a bike ride through Basel, started to see how the city comes to life, with unique, variegated shapes and colors, kaleidoscopic images, circles, spirals and fractal structures, in a constant flow aligned with the universal order. On this occasion, new horizons were opened in medicine and psychotherapy, and the substance showed great promise in the treatment of various disorders, especially neuroses.
After two decades, the counterculture of the 60s was born, which had psychedelics as stimulants of creativity and artistic inspiration, but, unfortunately, abuses, uncontrolled behaviors and government propaganda, led to the destruction of the reputation of the substance, which later became illegal.
However, that memorable day remained in history under the name of Bicycle Day and is celebrated every year by psychonauts from all over the world.
Returning to our event, we symbolically celebrate this day and we can guarantee that the psychedelic music we will listen to, with a hypnotic effect, mixed by top DJs from Romania, in a fairytale setting, will be enough to keep you from walking through the magical world of Hofmann and will create an atmosphere of peace, love, happiness and connection with infinity!
