There is world and continent maps next the well-known country list now, each available with it's own button to open the map immediately.

All countries with party events are in green, the more the darker (or in the analog colors of the different layouts). Mouse over shows the flag, the country name and the amount of parties.

The maps are filled depending on the context - so the maps on Startpage shows all upcoming events and on Past Events the past.

This makes it also easy to create a "Festival Map" or every other customized version, f.e. which DJ was in which countries... Simply click "Festivals" or use the detail search for your specific needs.

If somebody prefers the usual country list without the maps it's no problem to switch back to the list with the icon button.

Or if all off them is enough it's possible to click the opened button once more to close all of the country infos.

Some details about the code:
It's not an external map provider or service. We use the code of [jqvmap.com] which draws the maps in SVG. The code is extended and customized to get a simple map switch, the different colors, german country names and - last but not least - all the needed data for the maps itself.

The result is a better overview - and a nice playground too...
