Info area customised / Buy Me a Coffee
27.08.25 ·The so-called "info area" with login and "Worldtimes" is on the right on desktops (at the bottom on smartphones) and shows, among other things, page info, the "Party News" and the donation area.
What is new is that the "Party News" is now initially collapsed / closed and does not immediately list a calendar, the latest flyers, events, reports etc.. They open with a click/tap and then remain visible across the pages as usual.
This makes Goabase more performant overall because the "Party News" is only read and displayed as required.
The same applies to the request for donations: This is now hidden behind "Donate something" and can be opened as soon as you want it.
Visually, it should be immediately recognisable.
One more thing about donations: The provider [buymeacoffee.com] has been added there as an alternative to PayPal. "Buy Me a Coffee" transfers directly to a bank account and nothing goes through PayPal. Their share is 5%. No code from PayPal or Buymeacoffee is read or used at any point and therefore nothing is tracked.
