~~CHRISTER ANDERSSON (PhasePhour/BMSS Records, Norway)

In 1996 when he worked as a light technician at major clubs and underground parties in Norway. His first true epiphany came into shape and form of the Goa trance album "Return to the Source - The Chakra Journey", which drove his interest for music deep down the electronic spiral.

His first club concept, Shuffle Chakra, took shape in 1998, and got him started working with all the various elements that lays the foundation for a club night. In order to create a unique atmosphere for every single party held, he took the role as "jack of all trades". He did everything from designing flyers, promotion, booking of artists, decoration, visuals, lights and to the most essential element of them all - serving great music from behind the mixer. Over the years, he has help well over hundred separate club and party nights.

Before he relocated to Mexico, Christer Andersson ran the Norwegian club scene together with some other organizers with his highly successful parties like Limboland, Shuffle Chakra, Inflamabil and Jesus Christer Supersunday. His dedicated work paid itself, and good bookings have taken him more and more abroad to play in countries like Sweden, Romania, Greece, Czech Republic, Germany and extensive tours of Mexico, Brazil and the United States.

He has earned himself the reputation of being a quite versatile Dj, musically the keyword being focus and a lot of hard work. There is always a development in his skills behind the mixer, both technically and musically since his maiden voyage. His style of music is numerous, but one key factor is that it needs to be groovy, timeless and playful techno and tech-house.

The last year he also started producing music as a part of the psytrance, progressive and chillout group PhasePhour.

Christer Andersson never prepares a set before embracing a gig, and always looks to the audience and the atmosphere at the party. When he plays music, its with one main intention: to make people dance.
