Dear Goabase community

Thank you for giving Boom Festival 2010 one of the best vibes to date! You are the reason for us to be here and the true sense for Boom Festival to happen!

We at Boom HQ have been a part of this forum for many years. Reading carefully comments, having fun with so many words and being up-to-date with the feelings of this great community of psytrance lovers.

Times are changing and the urge for human gatherings to be an effective answer to a transition of consciousness in the world is stronger than ever. The call is resonating throughout the tribes, the dance floors, the communities and the art that has been expressed by so many people.

The mythology of 2012, the peak oil, the peak on demography and pollution, the peak in prejudice, radicalism and dogmatism, the decadence of the economic religion and the agony of the current mythology of growth and political systems…

Psychedelic culture is an answer to all this. It leads us into a way between worlds, where we expand our boundaries and we are embedded with the truth of the universe. Boom is 100% independent, no corporate-logo area, no sponsors, a Psychedelic culture festival, not only a dance floor-driven festival. We unite the whole psychedelic culture (music, art, knowledge, performing artist, citizens, activists to name just a few) to ignite change and celebrate life.

Boom is a festival dedicated to all free spirits. Psychedelia is at our heartbeat and we express it fully in every action of our own program. The Boom experience is not a dance floor experience only. Likewise, humans are not one-dimensional only, we are multidimensional sentient beings that relate holistically with the universe. At Boom we activate the psychedelic portal through all our senses.

Our experience is one of celebration the psychedelic culture through music and dance, visual arts, public art, knowledge, activism, cinema, workshops, lectures, healing, sacred geometry, theatre, literature, performing arts, and in the previous editions with a big concern on developing eco-technologies that can answer the challenges of thousands of people gathered in the nature.

2012 is a special year in our collective unconscious, the signs for a change are everywhere. Curiously there will be two full moons in August 2012… Or are we already collectively hallucinating?!

Boom is a Full Moon Gathering and it will be held in the first Full Moon of August 2012, following the tilt of the moon, the 9th edition of Boom is from July 28th to August 4th.

We will be here among the Goabase Community for those that want to touch base with us till the mythical Boom 2012.

You can chat with us, feedback, comment, criticize and feel free to express your thoughts. We kindly ask you to be respectful in every chat because respect, kindness and peace are part of the psychedelic trance ethics.
